Masters Swim Camp 2023

Masters Swim Camp – Tenerife Top Training (T3) 6-13 May 2023

Our early season Masters Swim Camp at Tenerife Top Training is designed to develop your swim skills, endurance and speed in order to prepare you for the season ahead.

The programme will primarily focus on your technical development by taking full advantage of the amazing T3 flume, which enables comprehensive video recording of your stroke with subsequent expert analysis. This means that we can design a programme of developmental drills which are bespoke to you …and give you a great takeaway to continue your progress back home.

During this engaging and fun week, you can expect to be encouraged to:

  1. Use the outstanding gym facilities at T3 to develop your strength and conditioning;
  2. Develop your understanding of the importance of nutrition and sleep within your programme;
  3. Enjoy challenging and rewarding sets;
  4. Receive detailed insights into your techniques;
  5. Undertake corrective drill work;
  6. Develop your aerobic capacity and
  7. Escape the world, enjoy the perfect climate, make new friends, have fun and laugh.

Cost: from £680pp (excluding flights and transfers).

Places are limited to ensure that each attendee receives the support they require.

What is included in your Masters Swim Camp?

  • 7 x nights full board accommodation at Hovima Jardin Caleta Hotel, La Caleta, Tenerife
  • Use of facilities at T3 (including gyms, running track, spinning room, jacuzzi, sauna)
  • Towels at each swim session
  • Unlimited poolside water
  • 2 x 2hr daily coached swim sessions
  • Use of 50 m and 25 m pool
  • Video recording within the T3 Flume and analysis

Lead Coach Swimming Ian Tyers, TTT Sports Ltd

Ian has been coaching at T3 since 2015 when he began running triathlon camps at the venue. He has enjoyed competing at all triathlon distances and is a GB Age Group athlete at both sprint distance triathlon and, latterly, long-distance aquabike. Now competing in open water swimming events. He coaches both Masters swimmers and a Junior Squad at Exeter City Swimming Club, England. He has recently returned from completing the Ultra33.3 Montenegro Invitational, an inaugural race covering 33.3k swimming over 4 days of racing in the Adriatic.
